The famous John Ono Lennon, the founder of the worldwide known music band The Beatles, was born on this very day in the year of 1940. Today marks the 73rd birth anniversary of the legendary singer. The Beatles tasted great success in Lennon's presence until 1970.

The Beatles
John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr - four young lads from Liverpool who changed music and changed the world. Formed following a chance meeting between John Lennon and Paul McCartney at the Woolton Village Fete, in 1957, they released their first album, Please Please Me, in 1962 and went on to have 17 number ones in the UK as well as dominating the US charts.
